Here's your piece cleaned up for AP style, with the redundant day-of-week/date pairings trimmed (AP generally drops the weekday when the date is more than seven days out and stands alone) and a few other fixes:

Sarasota classical music fans can now build their own concert lineup for the upcoming season after the Sarasota Concert Association opened its Choose Three mini-subscription campaign Monday.

The deal is straightforward: pick any three of the nonprofit's seven concerts and save 10% off single-ticket prices. Subscribers also get first pick of seats before tickets go on sale to the general public Sept. 8.

The SCA's 82nd season spans three local venues and runs from December through March 2027. Two special events kick things off at the Sarasota Opera House, 61 N. Pineapple Ave.:

  • Dec. 1, 7:30 p.m. — Grammy-winning pianist Daniil Trifonov makes his Sarasota debut, performing Schubert's "Wanderer-Fantasy" alongside works by Handel, Stravinsky, Villa-Lobos and Ginastera.
  • Dec. 2, 7:30 p.m. — Chanticleer, the Grammy-winning vocal ensemble, returns with an all-new program of Renaissance classics and holiday favorites.

The five-concert Great Performers Series picks up in January at two additional venues:

  • Jan. 16, 7:30 p.m. — Takács Quartet with pianist Jeremy Denk, Riverview Performing Arts Center, 1 Ram Way.
  • Feb. 3, 7:30 p.m. — Pianist Aristo Sham, the 2025 Van Cliburn Competition gold medalist, Riverview PAC.
  • Feb. 15, 7:30 p.m. — Orpheus Chamber Orchestra with pianist Isata Kanneh-Mason, Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall, 777 N. Tamiami Trail.
  • Feb. 28, 2 p.m. — Violinist Midori with the Festival Strings Lucerne, performing Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto, Van Wezel.
  • March 14, 2 p.m. — The Cleveland Orchestra, conducted by Semyon Bychkov, with pianist Alexandre Kantorow performing Rachmaninoff's "Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini," Van Wezel.

Single-ticket prices range from $40 for balcony seats at the Opera House to $165 for premium seats at the Cleveland Orchestra concert. The 10% Choose Three discount brings an A-section Opera House ticket from $90 to $81. Student tickets are $9 for ages 8 to 18 when accompanied by a full-price adult, and group discounts run 10% for parties of 10 or more.

Residents who want the full Great Performers Series can subscribe to all five concerts for a 15% discount.

To order Choose Three subscriptions, call the SCA box office at 941-966-6161, Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. More information is available at SCAsarasota.org.

The SCA also hosts free Music Matinees featuring regional artists at St. Andrew United Church of Christ, 6908 S. Beneva Road. The 2027 Music Matinee lineup will be announced later this year.
