Sarasota's Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall announced nearly 60 shows for its 2026-27 season on Sunday, Aug. 30.

Comedian John Mulaney, comedian Ron White and musician Boz Scaggs headline the lineup at the city-owned bayfront venue, the Herald-Tribune reported. The full announcement follows months of piecemeal reveals, starting with the Broadway season in March and holiday shows announced in August.

Executive Director Mary Bensel's venue stacked the calendar with Broadway, holiday spectacles and nationally touring acts.

10-show Broadway run

The Broadway season, themed "A Season Fit For A Queen," stretches from December through April. It includes SIX, Hell's Kitchen, Mamma Mia!, The Bodyguard, Waitress and Water for Elephants.

The Wiz national tour stops at Van Wezel on Jan. 15–16, 2027, according to BroadwayWorld. Hell's Kitchen runs April 13–18, 2027.

Holiday lineup

Van Wezel packed 14 shows into the holiday stretch between Nov. 5 and Dec. 30, according to the Suncoast Post.

Tony and Grammy Award winner Leslie Odom Jr., best known for originating the role of Aaron Burr in "Hamilton," makes his Sarasota debut on Dec. 14. Other holiday highlights include the Dave Koz & Friends Christmas Tour on Dec. 3, Straight No Chaser on Dec. 28 and the Nutcracker! Magical Christmas Ballet on Dec. 29.

The stretch opens with The Phil Collins Story on Nov. 5, followed by Neil Berg's The '70s: Long Live Rock 'N' Roll on Nov. 12 and Blank Space: The Unofficial Taylor Swift Tribute on Nov. 13.
